Structured support to help secure the right early-career opportunity

Practical, personalised guidance to help you stand out and succeed in competitive processes

This programme provides structured, personalised support to help people secure meaningful early-career opportunities, including placement years, internships or entry-level roles, designed to complement what is typically available through schools, colleges or universities.

Support is tailored to your interests, strengths and goals, helping you to present yourself effectively, navigate opportunities with confidence and perform strongly in competitive selection processes.

It is designed for:

• People preparing to take their next step, whether that is through a placement year, internship, apprenticeship or early career role

• Those who would benefit from clearer direction, stronger positioning, and practical support to navigate application and interview processes with confidence

• People considering alternatives to traditional university routes, where securing the right opportunity early on can have a significant impact on longer-term career progression.

Sessions are online.

How I work

Mentoring is practical, experience-based support grounded in real-world leadership. We focus on what actually helps you make progress and where appropriate raising your profile – we put ‘Brand You’ at the core! My approach is direct, thoughtful and supportive. I challenge where needed, ask the right questions and help you focus on what matters. This works best for people who are willing to engage, reflect and take action.

Sprint

Targeted, short-term support to strengthen applications and prepare for immediate opportunities.

This option focuses on refining a CV, improving how you present yourself in applications, and building confidence and capability for interviews. It is designed for those who are already applying or about to begin.

Sessions are practical and focused, ensuring that each interaction leads to tangible improvements.

Includes three 30–45 minute one-to-one sessions over a period of up to six weeks. Cost: £250

Career-readiness

Sustained support to prepare for and secure a placement, internship or early career role.

The programme begins with building a strong foundation, including developing a high-quality, tailored CV and clarifying direction in terms of sector, role and type of organisation. From there, the focus shifts to positioning, for example, social media content on appropriate platforms and detailed application process support such as covering letters.

As we progress, increasing emphasis is placed on interview preparation, confidence in the workplace and performance, ensuring you are able to convert opportunities into offers. Support adapts over time, responding to progress, feedback and changing priorities. Where appropriate, guidance may also be provided on how to proactively access relevant networks and opportunities, helping clients to broaden their approach beyond standard application routes.

This option is designed to provide continuity, accountability and structured progress over time and is typically delivered between October and late spring/early summer, aligned to application cycles. There is flexibility depending on individual circumstances.

Includes regular 30–45 minute one-to-one sessions (typically monthly), with light-touch support between sessions. Cost: £900
